Postdoctoral Position: Wnt Signaling - Autophagy : Bronx, NY, United States
A postdoctoral position for an outstanding and highly motivated candidate is available in the Jenny lab in the Department of Developmental and Molecular Biology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Our laboratory focuses on molecular aspects of canonical and non-canonical Wnt signaling and on Autophagy. We are particularly interested how Wnk kinases regulate Wnt signaling and development and have recently developed a genetic model for endosomal Microautophagy.
Recent PhD graduates are preferred. Qualified individuals must have strong laboratory expertise in Drosophila genetics or the fields of Wnt signaling or autophagy and first author publications in peer-reviewed journals. Ability to work independently, demonstrated creativity and very high motivation are expected.
