We are seeking an experienced scientist/engineer with a background in environmental monitoring to work as part of a multidisciplinary team on an ambitious project focused on the occurrence, fates and sources of phthalates in the Irish environment. The role is focussed on development of analytical protocols for sampling and assessment of phthalates in a variety of environmental matrices, including active and passive sampling, and an assessment of the impact of phthalates on human health. It forms part of a project funded by the Environmental Protection Agency. This multi-institutional programme involves collaborators from DCU, Arizona State University (ASU) and the Norwegian Institute for Water Research (NIVA). The duration of this role will be 3 years
