瑞典查尔姆斯理工大学计算机网络研究博士后职位
As postdoctoral researcher you will join the Networks and Systems division and work at the intersection of Cyberphysical Systems/Internet of Things and Data Processing & Analysis in Distributed Systems. Intelligent transportation- and related cyber-physical systems are equipped with devices to monitor and control them. These connected devices could provide us with new insights and we rely on Big Data Analysis to extract these insights.
The research in this project involves parallel and distributed coordination and data-processing algorithms for cooperative traffic, situation awareness, warnings and accident avoidance. A special focus shall be put on near real-time data-stream analysis, possibly addressing data-privacy aspects. The position is part of a pioneering initiative from the Chalmers Area of Advance Transport, in particular within Automated Driving and Safety. Complex challenges will be tackled jointly using top-notch research infrastructure, including possibilities of synergies with industry as well as strong interantional scientific networking. For more info on the initiative, as well as on living and working in Sweden: http://www.chalmers.se/en/areas-of-advance/Transport/pioneer/Pages/default.aspx
Your major responsibility as a postdoctoral researcher is to pursue research in collaboration with PhD students and faculty, towards the goals of the project. You are expected to develop your own scientific concepts and communicate the results of your research verbally and in writing. The position generally also offers possibilities for teaching on Chalmers' undergraduate level or performing other duties (e.g. student-project supervision) corresponding to 20 per cent of working hours. The salary for the position is as specified in Chalmers' general agreement for postdoctoral researchers. The position is intended to start in early spring 2015, but a different start date can also be arranged.
