These posts are fixed term for 18 months.

Nottingham Business School (NBS) is internationally recognised as the business school for business engagement and impact. Within NBS through the implementation of a robust research strategy, we intend to expand our research excellence and further our capability and capacity through the development and nurturing of the next generation of researchers. To achieve this we are looking to recruit Research Associates to join some of our top research groups based within NBS’ iconic Newton Building situated in the City Centre of Nottingham.

There are posts available for Academic Research Associates/ Postdocs, who will be involved in building research capacity for Grant Capture and 4* publication in the areas of Pedagogy within Higher Education and Operations/Product development/lean.

The purpose of the posts is to contribute to the work of specific research groups/centres under the guidance of a senior research professor. Activities will involve, contributing to the development of research projects and the production of the research group/centre's final research outputs, providing supplementary academic research and editorial work, and engaging in the timely delivery of reports and academic publications.

You should be educated to postgraduate degree level in a relevant subject within the broad sphere of management, business, organization studies, human resource management and economics and successful applicants will possess qualitative and/ or quantitative skills. You should be driven and committed, and be able to demonstrate initiative and self-motivation. Good time management and planning skills with a commitment to delivery are a pre-requisite of this role. Interest in building a strong publishing record is a requirement.
