Open ended contract subject to fixed term funding. Funding is available from 1 April 2016 until 31 March 2019.

In this position you will be independently undertaking research towards the objectives of the project outlined in the further particulars. It will also involve integrating into a team of scientists including the day-to-day supervision of a technician and cooperation with PhD students and postdocs working on related projects. You will be responsible to Dr Jonathan McDearmid.

You will have a PhD in neuroscience or a related discipline and experience with patch clamp electrophysiology techniques is highly desirable.
