Postdoctoral Fellow in Cancer Research

Southeast region in the U.S.up to $35,000 per annum + benefits (including 10% retirement and medical insurance)

The Cancer Center at Augusta University is now seeking to fill one postdoctoral research positions in cancer research. The successful candidates will work on NIH-funded projects, and study the regulation of p53 and cellular responses to DNA damage and metabolic stress using molecular biological approaches and transgenic animal models (Nat Commun 6: 6752, 2015; Oncogene 34: 4975, 2015; J Biol Chem 289: 8947, 2014; Mol Cell Biol 32: 3190, 2012). The candidate must have strong experience in molecular cloning, molecular biology, and cancer research. Experience with animals (particularly genetically-engineered mouse) is a plus. Candidates must have a Ph.D. degree in Molecular Biology or related fields, and should be highly motivated, independent, and have demonstrated productivity in graduate work.
