Background
An 18 months full time position is available for a highly motivated candidate to join our group for Stem Cells and Embryology at the University of Copenhagen in May 2016. It is also possible to adjust the employment duration to a two year position with a 30 hour work week. The position will concentrate on research within iPSC generation from dogs with canine cognitive dysfunction (CCD) and age-matched control dogs, differentiation of these iPSC into functional neurons, astrocytes and microglia as well as subsequent in vitro studies of pathological phenotypes.
The group for Stem Cells and Embryology at the University of Copenhagen is focused on generating iPSC lines from patients with neurodegenerative diseases and subsequent analyses of the disease phenotype in relevant neural subpopulations.
