Postdoctoral Research Associate in Gene Regulation : Oxford, United Kingdom
We are seeking to appoint a Postdoctoral Research Associate to investigate role of RNA modifications and molecular mechanisms mediating their function in gene regulation. Our multi-dimensional research programme integrates biochemical, cellular and large-scale genetic/genomic approaches using fission yeast as a model system.
Applicants should hold a PhD in a relevant subject and have a strong track record of research in this or a related area. You will also be highly motivated, be able to work independently and have strong communication skills. Previous experience with biochemistry, RNA analysis, extensive expertise in studying co-transcriptional processes (ChIP, RIP, NET-seq), yeast genetics, genome-wide assays and data mining are essential.
