Postdoctoral Position to Study Mechanisms of Leukocyte Extravasation Across Postcapillary Venules using Intravital Microskopy

Three year Full Time Position

The successful applicant will investigate mechanisms of leukocyte extravasation across postcapillary venules, with focus on cell-matrix interactions. Focus will be on identification of immune cell-specific mechanisms and the development of intravital fluorescence imaging techniques. The applicant should have experience with immunology, immunological techniques and inflammatory models. In addition, basic knowledge in biochemistry and cell biology is beneficial. The position is available from January 1st,2016, for 3 years initially, with the possibility of extension. The salary will be set according to qualifications. Deadline for applications is November 15th, 2015.
