UOWD is seeking candidates for a full time Assistant or Associate Professor in Human Resource Management to commence in the upcoming academic year January 2016.

The Faculty of Business is the biggest faculty in the University of Wollongong in Dubai. The Faculty offers undergraduate, postgraduate and postgraduate research programs in a variety of disciplines including Human Resource Management, Logistics, Quality Management, Business Management, Finance, Banking and Accounting.

To be successful in this position you must have prior experience of teaching both undergraduate and post-graduate courses in Human Resource Management. The preferred areas of specialization for this position are Change Management, Recruitment and Selection and Performance Management.

Criteria:

To qualify for the above roles, candidate must have the following qualifications:

• PhD. Degree in the discipline (or related discipline) from a recognised international academic institution
• Teaching experience at an internationally recognized institution
• Experience in supervising doctoral candidates
• An active researcher in the field (or related field) with publications in recognised international journals
• Fluency in English language (both spoken and written)

Interested candidates must have a strong record of research in related fields and must be supported by documentary evidence of publication. To be successful for this position you must demonstrate the motivation and capacity to excel in both research and teaching, as well as have experience or demonstrated interest and ability to engage with the external business community through their research and teaching. All new Faculty will be required to support the University's PhD & DBA programs.
