The Company

Kromek is a developer and supplier of patented radiation detection technologies to the medical imaging, nuclear detection and security screening markets.

The Role

Working with experts from the University of Huddersfield and using the acclaimed KTP scheme (www.ktponline.org.uk) the main purpose of the role is to undertake research into new product development and to use the knowledge to bring about a fundamental advancement in the product range. Reporting directly to the Company’s Neutron Products Manager, you will be responsible for leading this high profile project, with significant support from senior staff at both the Company and University.

This role offers the opportunity to undertake a Diploma in Management and a higher degree along with excellent long term career prospects with the Company.

The Person

A 2:1 honours degree or higher in an electronic engineering or physics based discipline is essential as is experience in device, design, manufacture and test. You will require strong technical skills and the drive and determination to deliver and embed new knowledge into the company.
