The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine sponsors the NRC Research Associateship Programs which offer awards four times annually for postdoctoral, senior and graduate research to be conducted in participating U.S. Federal Laboratories. Awards include generous stipends, support for relocation, professional travel and health insurance. The host laboratory provides research facilities, equipment and funding for supplies to support the Associateship's research.
