(High Throughput Discovery of New Heterogeneous Catalysts)

£32,277 – £37,394 pa

Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the high throughput discovery of new heterogeneous catalysts for selective transformation of Biomass, working in collaboration with Imperial College Chemical Engineering, Cardiff Catalysis Institute and European Bioenergy Research Institute at Aston. You will have a PhD in chemistry or chemical engineering, a strong publication record, a pro-active approach and expertise in heterogeneous catalysis. Experience in high throughput methods, supported catalyst synthesis, nanoparticle synthesis and catalyst characterisation are desirable. The post is available until 31 August 2017.
