The School of Chemistry are currently recruiting for a Postdoctoral Research Assistant, to be based in the Inorganic and Materials Section in the research group of Professor Ian Manners.

The title of this overall EPSRC funded project is “Optoelectronic Nanostructures via Polythiophene Block Copolymer Self-Assembly”. The relevant proposed research subproject involves development of synthetic approaches to a range of polymers with the target of preparing functional supramolecular structures and devices. Chem. Soc. 2014, 136, 4121.

You will work as part of a dynamic team in the area of functional materials prepared by block copolymer assembly.

This is a full-time research position fixed-term for a period of 12 months.
