We are seeking a highly motivated post doctoral research fellow to involve in a NIH-funded project studying the effects of nanoencapsulated polyphenol on obesity at Texas Tech University. Primary responsibilities include to synthesize biodegradable nanocarriers, to measure their target specificity to specific cells and their anti-obesity effects in vitro and in vivo (a mouse model).

Applicants should hold a Ph.D., Pharm.D. and/or M.D. degree from an accredited college/university in a discipline related to biomedical research. Experience with classical cellular and molecular validation techniques with publications in the area of nanomedicine, drug delivery, pharmaceutic sciences, lipid metabolism, obesity are preferred.
