摘要:

Post-Doctoral Positions in Brain Tumor Biology

Post-doctoral positions are available immediately in the Department of Neurosurgery and the Brain Tumor Center at The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center. The research positions are focused on basic and translational aspects of glioma cell biology, mouse models of brain cancer, and tumor cell interactions with stromal components in the brain microenvironment, particularly blood vessels and their basement membranes. The post-doc will receive training and mentoring in the use of mouse models and in vitro culture systems to study cell adhesion and signaling pathways involved in tumor cell-stromal cell interactions. A strong background in biochemistry, molecular biology, and cell biology is required.

All applicants should have a PhD and/or MD as well as peer-reviewed publications in internationally recognized journals.

The M. D. Anderson Department of Neurosurgery and Brain Tumor Center are located in the vibrant research environment of the Houston Texas Medical Center, which includes Baylor College of Medicine, The University of Texas Medical School, the Methodist Hospital Research Institute, and Rice University.
