The Sun Laboratory at the Daniel K. Inouye College of Pharmacy, University of Hawaii at Hilo, is currently accepting applications for an open Postdoctoral position in the fields of organic and medicinal chemistry.

The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry or Medicinal Chemistry, and a strong background in multi-step organic synthesis. This highly motivated candidate is expected to be responsible for the synthesis and structure activity relationships (SAR) development of novel antibacterial agents, which are based on related small molecules and/or emerging natural product leads.
