Job Description

 The research laboratory of Dr. Anthony Ricci PhD at Stanford University is looking for postdoctoral fellow(s) interested in unraveling the molecular mechanisms of auditory hair cell mechanotransduction. We use state of the art electrophysiological and optical techniques to probe activation, adaptation, gating and mechanical properties of the whole hair bundle and single stereocilia. I am looking for independent thinkers who are motivated and excited to tackle difficult experiments, to be part of collaborative efforts focused on technology development with both basic science and translational applications. The auditory group at Stanford University is highly collaborative with expertise in molecular, genetic, development, whole animal physiology and stem cell biology with additional ties to mechanical and bio engineering.
