摘要：

A postdoctoral position is available at the University of Vermont, Dept. of Pathology to understand the functions of “Endoplasmic Reticulum (ER) based Chaperones and Protein Disulfide Isomerases in Lung Diseases”.
We are interested in dissecting the role of ER based Unfolded Protein Response (UPR) induced by various agents (such as allergens, viruses and ligands) and characterizing the pathological consequences of UPR in 1) allergen-induced lung inflammation and airway fibrotic remodeling, 2) influenza virus protein folding and propagation and 3) differentiation of T helper cells into various subsets (e.g. Th1, Th2 and Th17).
These projects involve complementary approaches including animal studies involving transgenic mice, live and high-resolution microscopy and biochemistry. The project will be supported by state of the art technology resources available at the University of Vermont College of Medicine
