摘要:
Post-Doctoral Research Fellow - Humoral Immunity to Vaccines and Infection : Seattle, WA, United States

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, home of three Nobel laureates, is an independent, nonprofit research institution dedicated to the development and advancement of biomedical research to eliminate cancer and other potentially fatal diseases.

Recognized internationally for its pioneering work in bone-marrow transplantation, the Center's four scientific divisions collaborate to form a unique environment for conducting basic and applied science.

The Hutchinson Center, in collaboration with its clinical and research partners, the University of Washington and Children's Hospital and Regional Medical Center, is the only National Cancer Institute-designated comprehensive cancer center in the Pacific Northwest. Join us and make a difference.

A group in the Vaccine and Infectious Disease Research Division is recruiting a postdoctoral fellow to work on humoral immunity to vaccines and infection.

The work requires the utilization of a multidisciplinary approach to identify and to functionally characterize B cell clonal lineages that expand, or contract, during immunization with distinct HIV-1 candidate vaccines and during natural HIV-1 infection.

PhD in immunology, microbiology, cell biology, or a related field is required. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in B cell immunology. Expertise with 'next generation sequencing' and bioinformatic tools is highly desirable. The candidate must be self-motivated, able to multitask and to work within a very collaborative environment.
