Job Description

Objectives:
- Clarifies mechanism of mitochondrial dysfunction in cardiovascular diseases.

Accountabilities:
- Responsible for research on mitochondrial dysfunction.
- Responsible for exploring mechanisms of mitochondrial dysfunction and identification of a potential new drug target for cardiovascular diseases (e.g. heart failure, kidney disease).

Requirements:
[Required]
- Ph.D. or/and M.D. in biomedical sciences.
- Expertise regarding mitochondrial biology research of industry or academia with 3 years of postdoctoral experience.
- Deep knowledge on mitochondrial biology.
- Excellent skills in mammalian cell culture and transfection techniques.
- Excellent skills in plasmid constructions and generation of transient/stable cell lines.
- A variety of molecular biological and biochemical techniques in order to study mitochondrial morphological and functional analysis using confocal microscopy.
