Marine Geology and Geophysics Group, Research and Development (R&D) Center for Earthquake and Tsunami, JAMSTEC is soliciting applications for a postdoctoral researcher to work for JSPS Grant-in-Aid for Specially Promoted Research "Uncover processes of slips to the trench, their past and present" (FY2014-2018, Co-Investigator: Toshiya Kanamatsu). The specific objectives are to plan and conduct marine geological surveys and analyze the obtained samples, and to discern paleoseismology from the marine sediment in the areas from offshore Hokkaido to offshore Boso.
