Postdoctoral research positions – Quantum Information and Foundations

The University of Bristol is seeking to fill two postdoctoral positions of approximately 24 months duration, open to those with research interests in theoretical aspects of quantum information and foundations of quantum mechanics. You should have a strong background and excellent record of research in one or both of these fields, and have or be near to completing a relevant PhD.

Staff members in our group are: Professor Sandu Popescu and Dr Tony Short (Physics), Professor Noah Linden (Mathematics) and Dr Ashley Montanero (Computer Sciences). The positions will be based in the School of Physics. The posts are funded (funding end date 28February 2017) by the European Commission via the European Research Council. The start date will be 1st January 2015.
