Postdoctoral Fellowship in Infectious Diseases: Developing Imaging tracers for bacterial infections at the Center for infection and inflammation imaging research, Johns Hopkins University.
An NIH-funded postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Sanjay K Jain, Associate Professor of Pediatrics and International Health and Director, Center for Infection and Inflammation Imaging Research at Johns Hopkins University. The fellow will join a multidisciplinary group working in a cutting-edge area of developing and exploring imaging tracers for bacterial infections. The candidate should have a recent PhD or a MD / MBBS. The project will require extensive experimentation with small animals and pathogens, hence expertise in animal handling, micro procedures like tail vein IV catheters, sterile microbiological techniques is highly desirable, but not required
