摘要:
Post-Doctoral Research Fellow, In-Situ Gene Therapy : Seattle, WA, United States

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, home of three Nobel laureates, is an independent, nonprofit research institution dedicated to the development and advancement of biomedical research to eliminate cancer and other potentially fatal diseases. Recognized internationally for its pioneering work in bone-marrow transplantation, the Center's four scientific divisions collaborate to form a unique environment for conducting basic and applied science. The Hutchinson Center, in collaboration with its clinical and research partners, the University of Washington and Children's Hospital and Regional Medical Center, is the only National Cancer Institute-designated comprehensive cancer center in the Pacific Northwest. Join us and make a difference.

Dr. Matthias Stephan's laboratory at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle, WA, USA (https://stephanlab-fhcrc.squarespace.com), invites applications for a postdoctoral associate position in the area of formulating gene therapy vectors for the in situ modification of immune cells.

Candidates must possess a Ph.D. and have experience in the formulation of nonviral transgene delivery vectors, including liposomes, nanoparticles, or viral vectors (e.g. adeno-associated virus vectors or targeted lentiviral vectors). In addition, the candidate must possess experience in culturing primary cells and the use of preclinical mouse models (i.e. training in animal procedures such as tail vein injections, retroorbital bleeding, tissue digestions, cell isolation and flow cytometric analysis).

Qualified applicants are invited to submit a letter of application, which should outline their interest in the position, along with their curriculum vitae including the names and contact details of three referees.
