The Johnson Lab at Boston University is currently searching for motivated postdoctoral fellows with interest in applying computational/statistical methods to high-throughput genomics for application in personalized medicine. The fellow will be involved in the development of innovative methods for next generation sequencing technologies and will have access to data from multiple patient cohorts specifically gathered for the development of methods for predicting disease, diagnosing disease, identifying the specific cause of disease, and developing personalized drug treatment regimes. The Johnson Lab is located in the Division of Computational Biomedicine at the Boston University School of Medicine, which will provides a unique environment for statistical/computational postdocs to interact with biologists and physicians in an integrated and highly effective manner. Applicants should have strong programming skills and a PhD in statistics, bioinformatics, computer science, or a related field.
