The Department of Pharmacology at the University of Virginia is seeking a candidate for a Postdoctoral Fellow. A Ph.D. in biochemistry, cell biology, pharmacology, physiology or related field and experience in the areas of signal transduction and experimental physiology is required. Applicants with documented experience in lipid biochemistry, ex vivo metabolic studies, and protein analysis will be given priority. The project focus is on metabolic signaling and biochemical pathways in adipose physiology.
