ORGANOGENESIS SCHOLARS PROGRAM UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN MEDICAL SCHOOL
The University of Michigan announces recruitment for the Organogenesis Scholars Program (OSP) for tenure track assistant and associate level professors. The University of Michigan Center for Organogenesis (CFO) was originated in 1995. As the country’s first interdisciplinary center for organogenesis, we focus on organ development, maintenance and disease. Individuals are sought to enhance its investigational strengths in the areas of basic and/or translational organogenesis and tissue engineering. The Program is seeking individuals with PhD, MD, or MD/PhD degrees with evidence of successful scientific accomplishment and scholarly promise. Successful candidates will be expected to establish a vigorous externally-funded research program, and to become leaders in departmental and program activities, including teaching at the medical, graduate, and/or undergraduate levels. Primary college and department affiliation will be determined by the applicant’s qualifications and by relevance of the applicant’s research program to departmental initiatives and focus.
