This is an excellent opportunity for a future independent career as a principal investigator (PI) but where an intermediate position is desirable.
Existing infrastructure and internationally recognized expertise will provide human genome-wide datasets on chromatin structure, transcription factor occupancy, gene expression and proteomics relevant to the theme of Genetics & Development. The post will exploit these datasets obtained from our established SOLiD Next-Generation DNA sequencing platform. The datasets also bring collaboration with and support from senior PIs in the Faculties of Life Sciences, and Medical & Human Sciences at the University of Manchester (also Faculty members of the Manchester NIHR BRC).
You will be very highly motivated with a PhD or equivalent and experience in computational biology/bioinformatics. Relevant experience in molecular genetics, developmental biology, or relevant subject will be an advantage. Evidence of a productive research background is required.
The post is tenable for 36 months.

£28,983 - £35,646 p.a.
