Positions for postdoctoral scholars are available in the Laboratory of Dr. Chonghui Cheng at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine to study signal transduction, tumor progression, and/or mRNA regulation. Current research in the Cheng lab focuses on the following areas: 1. Investigating mechanisms by which CD44 and its splice isoforms modulate signaling cascades. 2. Dissecting the role of CD44 in cancer progression. 3. Understanding mechanisms of gene regulation by alternative splicing and the consequences of alternative splicing in affecting signaling and diseases.
