1.     COLLABORATIVE POSTDOCTORAL POSITION

A postdoctoral position is open immediately to start the collaborative research projects regarding the electro-active polymers (artificial muscles), the bio/chemical functionalization of graphene, vibration control, smart materials and structures, structural health monitoring, composite structures and nanotechnology.

A Ph. D. in the department of chemistry, polymer eng., mechanical eng. or aerospace eng. is required. Candidates should have experience to fabricate the electro-active polymers or to deal with graphene (or CNTs and fullerenes). Knowledge of the artificial muscles or nano-particles is desired.

Annual salary is from 30,000,000 to 40,000,000 Won (KRW) and additional incentive will be allowed through the evaluation of the academic achievements during stay.

2.     GRADUATE STUDENTS FOR MASTER AND DOCTOR DEGREE

The Intelligent Systems Design and Control laboratory (Department of Mechanical Engineering, Chonnam National University) is seeking passionate graduate students. The selected graduate students will be fully supported for the tuition fee and the dormitory fee. Also, additional salary will be funded by involving the research projects. Currently, four Chinese and two indian researchers are studying in the laboratory.
