Researcher position for the development of impact of medical genomics and precision medicine on the local and national Health system and of new application of Technologies Transfer in precision medicine - (21000009)

Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia – IIT is looking for an experienced scientist to develop and apply economic tools for genomic data within the project 5000genomi@VdA (center CMP3 at Aosta, Italy).

This Position is funded by FESR “5000genomi@vda” CUP B68H19005520007 granted by RegioneAutonoma Valle D'Aosta. For further information regarding the project, please visit www. 5000genomivda.it

The selected candidate will work as part of a larger research program in the field of medical genomics. He/she will work in a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment to address important questions in the context of precision medicine.

Requirements:

PhD in Business Administration Management, Economics, Management, and/or related discipline;

Ability to work independently but also to be a productive and cooperative member of a research team;

Prior experience in managing small research teams (desirable);

Strong written and oral communication skills in both Italian and English;

Good knowledge of the pharmaceutical Industry and CMO manufacturing processes;

Stakeholder oriented, excellent relationships skills at all levels;

Good experience in project management and problem solving;

Main responsibilities:

To improve the Business model of CMP3 through the project;

To investigate the impact of specific health technologies and/or other health technologies innovation related to health polices and management;

To develop analysis of impact of medical genomics and precision medicine on the local and national Health system;

To contribute to the technologies development and product transferring & manufacturing working cooperatively in order to understand bench and pilot-scale data and develop in-process test strategy for manufacturing;

To contribute to the Process Development and Process Engineering to assess and implement new technology;

Participate in the organization of dissemination events.
