Full-time post-doc position for 2 years, starting from 2021 January, is open now in the Solid State Spectroscopy Group of the Institute of Solid State Physics of the TU Wien, salary approx. 54.5 kEUR/year before taxes.

TU Wien is renowned within the international scientific community for its excellence in research. Vienna has been ranked multiple times the most livable city in the world.

Topics: Time-domain THz and far-infrared experiments in materials and systems of modern solid-state physics (multiferroics, metamaterials, topological insulators, etc.). Own ideas are also welcome. Development of experimental techniques, especially for THz spectroscopy in magnetic fields.

Requirements: PhD degree in solid-state physics or spectroscopy, excellent scientific record, fluency in English
