  Position SummaryThe Observatory on Social Media at Indiana University, Bloomington invites applications for a two-year Postdoctoral Fellow position. Research will address the intersection of computing, network, data, and media sciences. The Fellow will be expected to maintain an active research profile; to conduct independent research on significant projects in the areas of online information diffusion and manipulation; to present work in progress at professional conferences and sponsored workshops; and to assist with the development of funding proposals and scientific papers.   Basic QualificationsApplicants must have a Ph.D. prior to employment, ideally within the last 6 years, in computing, informatics, media studies, or comparable area of research. A solid record of publications or conferences, as well as strong coding and data analytics skills are a must.
