  POSTDOCTORAL ASSOCIATE POSITIONS in Prostate Cancer research

  Several fully funded postdoctoral positions are available in the laboratory of Maria T. Diaz-Meco to identify cell signaling pathways that impact metabolism and inflammation in prostate cancer. Special focus on resistance to therapy and the crosstalk with the tumor microenvironment and the role of epigenetic and metabolic reprogramming in lineage plasticity. The project is based on our recent publications on this topic: Valencia et al. 2014, Cancer Cell 26, 121-135; Linares et al., 2017, Cell Metabolism 26, 817-829; Huang et al., 2018, Cancer Cell 33, 770-784; Reina-Campos et al., 2019 Cancer Cell 35, 385-400.

  The Diaz-Meco Lab is located in newly renovated space in the Weiss building at the Rockefeller University campus in Manhattan. The position offers very competitive benefits and access to subsidized Cornell housing in Manhattan and Roosevelt Island.

  Requirements: We are looking for highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals. The candidates should have extensive lab experience in molecular and cellular biology skills and with expertise in mouse models. Candidates must have a Ph.D. or M.D. degree.
