　　Job Description

　　A Postdoctoral Fellow is sought to join the laboratory of Dr. Alexandre Reuben, Ph.D., Assistant Professor in the Department of Thoracic/Head & Neck Medical Oncology at MD Anderson and in the Department of Immunology at the UTHealth Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences.

　　Qualified candidates must have a Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D. in immunology and experience with immunoassays such as flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry, ELISA, ELISpot and cell culture. Strong writing skills are also a must. Experience working with clinical samples, isolating PBMCs and culturing primary cells is preferred. Must be willing to do animal work - prior experience is preferred.

　　The lab focuses on identifying methods to improve upon current immunotherapies for non-small cell lung cancer. The postdoctoral fellow will be responsible for formulating hypotheses based on preliminary data and literature, planning and carrying out experiments, analyzing and interpreting data. The postdoctoral fellow will also be responsible for presenting updates and results at lab, departmental and institutional meetings as well as conferences. He/she will also contribute to writing manuscripts, progress reports and grants. Great opportunity to join an exciting and collaborative environment and to become a key member of a young lab.
