摘要:

A full-time post doc position is available for 2 years in the “Innate Lymphocyte Group” led by Dr. Marit Inngjerdingen at Department of Pharmacology, Oslo University Hospital. The group investigates innate lymphocytes, with a particular focus on how innate lymphocytes are regulated and how they can be utilized in therapy in context of allo-transplantation and hematological malignancies.

We are looking for a highly motivated postdoc candidate with an interest in immunology and translational research. The candidate will work on a project to define how innate lymphocytes contributes to or are affected by acute graft-versus-host disease after bone marrow allo-transplantation in an established rat model. The candidate will also work on protocols to utilize innate lymphocytes therapeutically to prevent or treat graft-versus-host disease. The work will involve advanced flow cytometry, in vivo experimentation of rats, analysis of mRNA and miRNA expression, and diverse immunological assays. The candidate is expected to collaborate with international partners and be prepared to travel.

Only online applications via Webcruiter will come into consideration.

Qualifications
• The candidate must hold a PhD degree, preferably within immunology or hematology
• Experience in the biology of graft-versus-host disease or innate lymphocytes (such as NK cells) is an advantage
• Experience in experimental immunological research, including in vivo animal experimental models, advanced flow cytometry, and molecular biological techniques is a requirement
• The candidate must have excellent written and oral communication skills in English
• The application must include
• An application letter stating motivation for the position
• CV summarizing educations and positions
• List of publications
• Names and contact details of 2 referees
