摘要:

Postdoctoral position to study Wnt Signaling in Singapore : Singapore, Singapore

The Virshup lab at Duke-NUS in Singapore has opportunities for energetic and ambitious postdoctoral fellows to investigate novel basic and translational aspects of Wnt signaling pathways. We study Wnt secretion, Wnts in cancer, and novel Wnt signaling pathways revealed by in-depth analysis using cell-based and animal models. We are especially interested in translating our findings to better understand and treat human disease. Applicants should have experience in investigating cell signaling pathways; experience in systems biology, bioinformatics and/or mouse models is advantageous. The position requires a PhD in a biomedical science, demonstrated prior productivity, an open mind, and the ability to think, write and present data clearly. Previous postdoctoral experience is welcome, and appointment at the level of Principal Research Scientist can be considered for highly experienced candidates.

One good way to see what we do is to see what we publish. You can find our work via ORCID ID 0000-0001-6976-850X or via Google Scholar.

Duke-NUS (duke-nus.edu.sg), a joint initiative of Duke University and the National University of Singapore, shares a modern campus with Singapore’s largest hospital and several national research centers, including the National Cancer Centre. We offer competitive compensation as well as relocation and housing subsidies for international applicants.

Qualified candidates should respond with a CV and the names and contact information of three references to David M. Virshup, M.D. Professor and Director, Program in Cancer and Stem Cell Biology; e-mail: david.virshup@duke-nus.edu.sg
