We are seeking a highly motivated, independent-thinking POSTDOCTORAL FELLOW to study the molecular basis of endothelial pathophysiology in the context of infection. Optimal candidates will have a Ph.D. in microbiology, immunology, endothelial physiology or a related field, evidence of outstanding scholarship, and excellent communication skills. Candidates with research experience on endothelial cells are particularly encouraged to apply. Prior experience in the BSL3/ABSL3 laboratory would be a plus. Salary will reflect recent NIH FY2017 guidelines and be commensurate with experience. Though the position is funded, candidates will be encouraged and mentored to apply for additional support. In addition to core lab projects, postdocs will have the opportunity to pursue studies that combine their interests with that of the PI.
