Innate Immunity Post-Doctoral Position

A postdoctoral position is available to study various aspects of macrophages in the development of rheumatic disease in the Perlman Laboratory at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago.  Experimental models focus on genetically modified mice and cells derived from these mice, especially macrophages.  The research focus includes the discovering the molecular mechanisms regulating innate immune signaling pathways and their function in inflammatory disease.

Requirements

Highly motivated recent graduates with a PhD, MD/PhD or MD degree with a demonstrated strong background in cellular and molecular innate immunology.  Applicants with experience in flow cytometry, molecular techniques and transcriptomics are preferred. Candidates should have a good command of the English language, should be available for an interview and must be eligible to work in the US.
