摘要:

The Divito laboratory in the Department of Dermatology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH) in Boston is seeking an Immunology trained PhD for a funded post-doctoral fellowship in translational immunology.
Our laboratory investigates the immune-pathogenesis of severe drug allergies, drug reactions to anti-cancer therapies (immune checkpoint inhibitors for example) and graft-versus-host disease. Research is translational and aims to directly impact patient care. We work with both human specimens (retrospective and prospective) and novel humanized mouse models of disease. Our research utilizes both traditional immunologic techniques (immunofluorescence/immunohistochemistry, microscopy, flow cytometry and sorting, ELISA, western blot, etc) and novel technologies (ex. high-throughput TCR sequencing, nanostring transcriptome analysis, multispectral labeling and imaging of tissue, laser capture microscopy). The post-doctoral position would include both human sample work and humanized mouse work.
Highly-motivated candidates with a Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D. in Immunology or a closely related field are appropriate to apply. Applicants should possess strong laboratory, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills. Candidates with previous experience with mouse modeling/handling are highly desirable. Candidates should be scientifically curious and capable of working independently. The fellow would be expected to present/attend national scientific conferences and draft research manuscripts of their findings, and would be encouraged to apply for independent funding.
The BWH Department of Dermatology is located in the Longwood Medical Area, which contains ten major institutions, including research-oriented hospitals and research institutes, Harvard Medical School, and the Harvard School of Public Health, providing a rich training environment. Co-mentorship is possible in certain cases.

Anticipated start date is summer 2018 though is flexible. Interested candidates should email a brief cover letter indicating their research interests, experience and career goals, CV, and contact information for 3 references to:
