Postdoc in Immunology at Harvard Medical School : Boston, MA, United States

 

The Kissler laboratory investigates the autoimmune response that underlies type 1 diabetes with the goal to develop a preventive or curative therapy.

 

A postdoc position is currently available to investigate mechanisms by which pancreatic beta cells can be protected against autoimmunity. This cutting-edge research is part of a newly-funded collaborative project with groups at the Joslin Diabetes Center and at the Harvard Stem Cell Institute.

 

Our laboratory is located on the Harvard Medical School campus and is part of the Harvard Immunology Program. This rich research environment offers numerous state-of-the-art core facilities, several weekly Immunology seminars by local and international speakers, and a vibrant biomedical research community.

 

The ideal candidate will have expertise in molecular or cellular immunology, a solid command of flow cytometry and experience with mouse models.
