The salary will be paid at Grade 7, £40,523 to £48,327 per annum, plus £2,623 per annum London Allowance.
These are full time posts with a fixed term for 3 years.
Kings College London is making a major investment in Dementia and Neurodegeneration research, with the creation of the van Geest Chair in Dementia and Three Post-Doctoral Fellowships. Several other Principal Investigator posts in Dementia and Neurodegeneration are also advertised at the level of Professor, Senior Lecturer or Lecturer. They will be based in the newly built Maurice Wohl Clinical Neuroscience Institute.
We are seeking to appoint three senior post-doctoral neuroscientists, funded for a three year period to develop an independent programme of neurodegeneration research and obtain longer-term funding. Their approach might include genetic, molecular, cellular, model organisms, electrophysiological and imaging methodologies in a preclinical or clinical setting. The key objective of the post is to establish an independent research niche within the department.
The selection process will include a presentation and panel interview, and may include a formal lecture to members of the university.
Interviews dates are TBC.
