CIC Energigune is seeking an experienced post-doctoral researcher to engage in the research and development of hybrid supercapacitors. Preference will be given to candidates with extensive hands-on experience in the design and assembly of batteries and supercapacitors.

Description

Job function: Prepare electrodes and build electrochemical cells Design and optimize hybrid supercapacitor cells (e.g., mass-balancing cells) Characterize hybrid supercapacitors using electroanalytical techniques (cyclic voltammetry, galvanostatic cycling, impedance spectroscopy, etc…) Scale up material synthesis Write proposals to secure funding from government and industrial sources Supervise graduate/master students and technicians Qualification requirements: • PhD in Chemistry, Physics, or related fields • Expertise in the design, optimization and assembly of battery and supercapacitor cells • Experience in advanced testing and material synthesis • A team player who can collaborate with other groups, technical centers, and industries • Good verbal and written communication skills in English What we offer: We are offering a 24 -36 months position within interesting projects in the field of hybrid supercapcitors and important opportunities for professional development.
